About 10 years ago, a customer was returning a sequin vest that she purchased from our downtown Chicago store, I immediately had to have it! That’s when I discovered the cool girl brand Zadig & Voltaire. Not only did I invest in the vest, but I also started to collect the blazers. Some had their signature studded skull on the back while others were in very interesting rich brocades. My favorite that I still wear often is my blue/black tuxedo menswear inspired style. When I want a simple edgy look, I’ll add my favorite leather pants or these faux leather pants and band T. Since then, the brand has grown its offerings to include ‘made in Italy boots‘ and more. The price points are more affordable now as well. I was totally smitten so naturally I showed and sold to all my cool ladies as well.
